Store and manage your labels as easy to use AutoCad DXF themes and legend files. Now it is possible: Manage and edit annotations and graphics in ArcView without going nuts!
This is an extension to ESRI ArcView 3.x to process graphics and Annotation Features:
Graphics Export Export graphics to a shapefile with a legend (maintains symbols).
Graphics Import Import graphics from shapefiles (maintaining colors and symbols).
Graphics Convert Convert graphic type (point-line-polygon). Frame, underline or emphasize text. Buffer, densify or flip shapes. And many more.
Graphics Report Analyze and report the number of graphics in the project.
Annotation Select Select labels via a Text Attribute Table and the Query Builder.
Annotation Modify Modify annotation features or graphic labels (move or rotate, in- or decrease size, modify color, font or text using an Avenue function).
Annotation Export Create AutoCAD annotation theme (convert labels to annotations).
Annotation Import Import annotation themes (convert annotations to labels).
And a lot more...
Annotations are stored in AutoCad DXF files, that are small and can be used as themes:
Annotations can be created from AutoCad Layers, ARC/INFO Coverages, graphics etc.
Colors and fonts are stored in a legend file (annotations display exactly as the originals).
The same annotation theme can be used in multiple views or projects.
Change the appearance of all similar annotations just by editing the legend.
Just move annotation themes in the table of contents to change their priority.
Annotations keep your project files small and fast (graphic labels don't).
